SIT Migration
Systems Integration Testing (SIT) Migration Testing was where the migration process specified in the End-to-end MHHS Design was tested, started with the “as is” systems and moved through the migration steps to arrive in the final “to be” state. Both central (market infrastructure) and Supplier/Service Provider systems were required for Migration SIT.
The Programme produced a set of documentation to support the preparation and conduct of each SIT stage. These Approach and Plan documents specifically related to the Component Integration Test (CIT) stage, described the associated objectives, scope, approach, schedule, management, governance and assurance of the test stage.

SIT Migration and Settlement Testing Guidance
The Programme published the SIT Migration Testing and Data Approach guidance document.
This document provided guidance to SIT participants during their testing, by providing guidance on roles, how to set up test data and sets out how the Data Transfer Service would need to be configured.

SIT Settlement High Level Testing and Data Approach Guidance
The Programme published the SIT Settlement High Level Testing and Data Approach guidance document to support SIT participants during Settlement Testing.
Settlement Testing in SITB started on 10 June 2024 and proved the accuracy of Settlement processing and reporting.
Elexon produced a “Settlement Input Report” which enabled Programme participants to compare the settlement inputs (i.e. the Meter Point Administration Number (MPAN) consumption provided, estimations etc.) with the “REP” settlement reports.
A small number of MPANs were used to support this testing. Each cohort was assigned an average of 50 MPANs (400 in total), each settlement day and the subsequent runs used these 400 MPANs.
