SIT Operational
Systems Integration Testing (SIT) Operational Testing, where the Central Systems’ operational functions and processes were tested (including their service management solutions and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery). Supplier and Service Provider systems supported testing but were not needed to test themselves.
The Programme had a defined set of documentation which supported the preparation and conduct of each SIT stage. The Approach and Plan documents specifically related to the Component Integration Test (CIT) stage, described the associated objectives, scope, approach, schedule, management, governance and assurance of the test stage.
